Robots are playing an increasingly important role in all our lives. As one of the highlights of the Fiesta, robots will be displayed to showcase the latest technology and innovative ideas relating to their use. A RoboParade Competition will be organised for kindergarten kids and primary school students to design and build a robot car with their parents to encourage students to utilise their creativity and enhance their ability in design and innovation. Workshops will also be arranged for participants to acquire the basic skills for constructing a miniature robot which can be remotely controlled to carry out simple tasks. A Colouring Competition for kindergarten kids and primary school students will be held in April 2017 to enhance students’ understanding of the engineering profession and inspire their creativity.
